I used to think that I was so open minded to other ways of thought and belief, over the last few months I have been shown just how untrue that really is. I recently spent some time in the mountians with my church, I did a vision quest, spent time talking around the fire, and listening . I was able to see just how easy it was for me to close out anything that I thought was fluffy or a waste of time. I was so concerned that things were "real" that I didn't see if things were working. Today was the day--- my project is finished!--It took great reserves of patience and love since my dad insisted on helping in his way--like a bull in a china shop-----I take a deep breath and vent my flustrations to my siblings--warning them in advance- that they are here to listen while I vent safely---but I will only have him for a few short years left----- grab a memory and put it in your heart.
